Rebooking and loyalty - offers and promotions
1. General Overview
1.1. The Student Roost Loyalty Promise ("Loyalty Promise") applies to all residents who rebook their accommodation with Student Roost for the 2025/26 academic year.
1.2. The Loyalty Promise ensures that residents who rebook their accommodation by the 31 January 2025 (“Qualified Resident”) will receive the best available rental rates. Should Student Roost reduce or discount the rate for the same room type in the same property and for the same tenancy period after a resident rebooks, the annual rent will be matched to the lower rate, subject to the conditions outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility Criteria
2.1. To be eligible for the Loyalty Promise, the Qualified Resident must:
(a) have been resident in a Student Roost property for the whole of the academic year 2024/25;
(b) rebook a room with Student Roost by 31st January 2025 for the 2025/26 academic year for a minimum tenancy period of 40 weeks;
(c) not be in rent arrears under their 2024/25 tenancy agreement or otherwise in breach of their 2024/25 tenancy agreement or any prior tenancy agreement with Student Roost;
2.2. The Loyalty Promise applies only to the same room type in the same property and for the same tenancy period as booked by the Qualified Resident for the 2025/26 academic year. Any changes in room type or tenancy period may render the resident ineligible for the Loyalty Promise.
2.3. Upon booking, the resident will receive an email containing a “Loyalty Promise Certificate” as confirmation of their eligibility for the Loyalty Promise. This certificate will outline that if Student Roost offers the same room type in the same property and for the same tenancy period for booking during the period from 1 February 2025 to 30 September 2025 at a lower rate than the Qualified Resident's original booking rate, the Qualified Resident will be entitled to a deduction of the difference from their final instalment.
3. Price Matching Process
3.1. A price review will be conducted on or after 30th September 2025, comparing the original booking rate to any subsequent rates offered for the same room type, property, and tenancy period up to 30th September 2025.
3.2. If the review determines that another booking was made by a third party at a lower rate for the same room type in the same property for the same tenancy period, the total difference in rate across they tenancy period will be deducted from the Qualified Resident’s final instalment due under the tenancy agreement for the 2025/2026 academic year. In cases where overpayment has occurred, Student Roost will process a refund or credit.
3.3. The Loyalty Promise applies only to the annual rent. Student Roost will match reductions in annual rent only.
3.4. Student Roost will communicate any rent adjustments to Qualified Residents by the end of October 2025. This adjustment will be reflected in the last scheduled instalment for the tenancy period.
4. Exclusions and Limitations
4.1. The Loyalty Promise applies exclusively to the specific room type, tenancy period, and property specified in your 2025/26 tenancy agreement.
4.2. The Loyalty Promise excludes non-rent-related fees or additional charges, including payment processing fees or charges related to payment methods, instalments, or late fees.
4.3. The Loyalty Promise excludes all promotional incentives, including but not limited to cashback offers, vouchers, travel passes, or other cash alternatives. The rate comparison applies solely to the base annual rate and will not be included in any price matching or rent adjustment under the Loyalty Promise.
5. Communications and Marketing
5.1. Student Roost will make reasonable efforts to ensure that any changes to rent pricing, or the availability of the Loyalty Promise, are communicated clearly and promptly to the Qualified Residents no later than 31 October 2025. Qualified Residents will also be informed about the process and timeline for price adjustments or refunds where applicable.
5.2. All Qualified Residents will receive detailed information via email and within the Loyalty Promise Certificate, ensuring they understand the terms and are aware of the process. In cases where price adjustments affect the final payment, Student Roost will provide written confirmation of any changes.
6. Modifications and Termination
6.1. Student Roost reserves the right to change, terminate or withdraw the Loyalty Promise at any time without prior notice. Any changes will not affect bookings made prior to such modifications or withdrawal.
